BACK IN KINDERGARTEN, I WAS THE KID WITH THE UNPRONOUNCEABLE NAME, ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING CREATIVE TO GRAB ATTENTION—WHETHER IT WAS REARRANGING THE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE OR BRINGING BANNED MADONNA VIDEOS TO SHOW-AND-TELL.
SURPRISINGLY, IT ALL WORKED IN MY FAVOR. ONE DAY, VINCE FROST NOTICED MY UNIQUE STYLE AND INVITED ME TO COME WORK FOR HIM. NOT LONG AFTER, I BECAME AN ART DIRECTOR AT M&C SAATCHI SYDNEY, WHERE I WORKED ON NATIONAL CAMPAIGNS, WON AUSTRALIAN YOUNG LIONS FOR PRINT, AND EARNED RECOGNITION AS ONE OF B&T MAGAZINE’S "30 UNDER 30."
