GAME OF THRONES WAS THE MOST WATCHED SERIES IN THE WORLD AND A PILLAR OF THE FOXTEL BUSINESS WHICH HELD THE EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO THE FANTASY JUGGERNAUT IN AUSTRALIA.
TO LAUNCH THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW SEASON, I LED A TEAM ACROSS THE LARGEST OUTDOOR AND DIGITAL CAMPAIGN THE PAY TV PROVIDER HAD EVER COMMISSIONED.
OUR APPROACH
NOW THAT ‘WINTER’ HAD ARRIVED IN THE SERIES, OUR CAMPAIGN EVOLVED THE HBO KEY ART WITH ORIGINAL CREATIVE TO INVITE OUR AUDIENCE TO ‘SEE EVERY CHILLING MOMENT’ – ONLY ON FOXTEL.
THIS WAS EXECUTED ACROSS A SERIES OF INNOVATIVE MEDIA PLACEMENTS – INCLUDING AN OUTDOOR BUILD WITH A PROXIMITY SENSOR, ACTIVATING AN ANIMATION OF THE NIGHT KING EMERGING FROM ICY DEPTHS.
DIGITAL ACTIVATIONS INCLUDING MASTHEAD TAKEOVERS AND A SNAPCHAT FILTER ALL VISUALLY LEVERAGED THE CHILL OF WINTER.
